Sitting with friends in the sun, sipping, testing the delicate pastries. Ok, but here's the reason to go and go back: the roof top seating on a sunny day. The pastries were nice I would say on the upper end of the pastry scale which is a tough scale to rate, honestly. The drinks were good but not crazy-I've-died-and-gone-to-paradise sort. Back to the drink offerings: I was underwhelmed. Huge, towering ceilings, this colossal oven working centerpiece and twisting stairs that launch out of sight. Ok, I made those up but the point is this: in the end the taste differences are subtle. the Misted Sister with two shots of espresso and sage. But first: I find that most coffee and speciality drinks nowadays are rather analogous - fancy names, various ingredients but in the end, the taste is much the same whether you order the Jasmine Mint Twisted and Shaken Mocha Latte or.
